Boogie Beasts

Boogie Beasts

BE | Blues, Soul

Electric. Energetic. Eclectic.

Belgian band Boogie Beasts translate their passion for raw blues music into a most characteristic sound of their own, which has a touch of The Black Keys jamming with John Lee Hooker at a rave in the wee hours of the morning, or Morphine on a psychedelic trip with Little Walter or even RL Burnside backed up by the young Rolling Stones at a juke joint-gig.

Since their first show in 2011, Boogie Beasts have turned many clubs and festivals into insane parties. Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Spain, ... Everywhere they go, people will know. The band also played support shows for The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Andre Williams, The Sonics and others.

All of their albums received rave reviews from renowned magazines such as Rolling Stone France, Classic Rock Magazin Deutschland, OOR, etc.

In 2020, the band released “Howl”, a single mixed by Detroit garage rock godfather Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, The Sonics). A year later, the following album “Love Me Some”, got elected “4th Best Album of 2021” by the listeners of Belgian national radio Classic 21, who described Boogie Beasts as “key players in the European blues rock scene”.

On May 16, 2024, the band presented its fifth album, “Neon Skies & Different Highs”, at a sold-out concert at the Botanique in Brussels. At the end of the year, the album was voted “7th Best Album of 2024” by the listeners of Classic 21.

On April 12, 2025, the band released the EP “Live At Het Depot” as a limited 12” vinyl edition for Record Store Day.

To celebrate their 15th anniversary, Boogie Beasts released “Don’t Be So Mean!” on April 17, 2026. With this album, the band pays tribute to R. L. Burnside, one of their main sources of inspiration. The album features special guests Duwayne Burnside, Kenny Brown, Luther Dickinson, G. Love, Pablo van de Poel (DeWolff) and Cedric Maes (The Sore Losers).

Their energy is infectious, their sound dirty, yet highly irresistible.
