LUKE is the New Blues Band of the German singer/songwriter and guitarist Lukas Schüßler.

Since the age of thirteen, singer, guitarist and songwriter Lukas Schüßler, better known as LUKE, has been performing on stage for more than 15 years. During this time, he has made a name for himself with performances in the hottest blues clubs and festivals in Germany, France, Luxembourg and Holland. He has toured as the opening act for greats such as Patti Smith, Keb' Mo', Taj Mahal and PUR, was awarded the German Rock and Pop Prize in 2019, received the Culture Prize for Music from the Saarbrücken Regional Association in 2023 and has been nominated three times for the German Blues Challenge (2023–2025).

LUKE impressively combines the stylistic versatility of blues, soul, rock and pop. Inspired by blues legends such as Eric Clapton and Robert Cray, but also songwriters such as John Mayer and Bruce Springsteen, he combines catchy, pop-oriented songwriting with the energy, authenticity and depth of the blues. The result is a distinctive sound characterised by his striking vocals and his characteristic, singing Stratocaster tone – a common thread that runs through his diverse musical oeuvre.

With 32 songs released on four CDs and six music videos since the band was formed in 2019, LUKE impressively demonstrates that the songs are always the focus of his work. His second EP, Break The Silence, successfully placed two singles on the radio, and his debut album, Strange Boy In Town, was immediately named Album of the Week on SR3 and received nationwide airplay.
