In a mix of classic psychedelic rock, progressive rock and folk, interspersed with cabaret chutzpah, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rosalie Cunningham maintains a distinctive personality. Nominated for a Mercury Music Prize, the album was received positively by major publications such as Classic Rock, Mojo and Kerrang, who gave it stellar ratings in their consistently positive reviews.

Cunningham also appeared in a number of "Best of the Year" polls. In
Europe, the popular German music magazine eclipsed chose her album as
ninth best release of the year, while in the UK it was ranked by Prog
