Rosalie Cunningham

UK | psychedelic & progressive rock, folk

In a mix of classic psychedelic rock, progressive rock and folk, interspersed with cabaret chutzpah, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rosalie Cunningham maintains a distinctive personality. After the dissolution of her critically acclaimed band Purson, Cunningham struck a new chord with her eponymous solo album in 2019. Nominated for a Mercury Music Prize, the album was received positively by major publications such as Classic Rock, Mojo and Kerrang, who gave it stellar ratings in their consistently positive reviews.

Cunningham also appeared in a number of "Best of the Year" polls. In
Europe, the popular German music magazine eclipsed chose her album as
ninth best release of the year, while in the UK it was ranked by Prog
was named the third best album of 2019. More accolades from Prog came when magazine named Cunningham the "eighth greatest female musician of all time."

The follow-up album Two Piece Puzzle was equally well received and resulted in Rosalie being voted Best Female Vocalist in Prog magazine's 2022 Readers' Poll. The album is a heady mix of different styles, all infused with Rosalie's unique ability to entertain and captivate the listener.
