US | blues, rock, soul
Founded in the early 80's as ex-lead guitarist of the punk rock band DMZ Peter Greenberg, the singing Barrence Whitfield discovered in his record store in Boston and brought him into his band "The Savages". Many explosive and rough stage performances followed until Greenberg left in 1986.
Luckily, Barrence Whitfield kept the band alive over the years, recording great albums and touring around the world.
In 2010, after a 25-year hiatus, Whifield & Greenberg decided to get together in the American desert and play some shows in the American Southwest. Since then, several new albums have been released and the band has toured extensively in the USA and Europe.
Get ready for an incredibly hot mix of rhythm and blues, soul, blues and rock paired with punk and garage sounds!
